Can I Be Honest???????

I use cyberlink powerdirector 12. Works really well. And imsure I am only using it to a small amount of its capabilities'

I too started with movie maker but i would not use it again even for quick edits. Using sony vegas 13 and adobe now

there are pictures on google images of people with comic sans on their grave stones

Oh dear. I wonder though, if they 'pre-designed' them before they shuffled off. Or if, just like with Michael Jackson's latest offerings, creative choices were made by those graced with the poor taste to burden the poor deceased's legacy with tacky creations!?

that's what happens when you have no control over your music. Tbh I haven't really given it a listen. And it didn't play othe radio much here so I've manages to avoid it

Tried to not give it too much time. I was definitely Pro-Jacko. He was just misguided and misrepresented in my opinion. But I'm an optimistic do-gooder!

But there are things you don't do. And that includes most things where they're prefixed with "it's what *such and such* would have wanted"!!

Like letting Robbie Williams record a song with the deceased Frank Sinatra!! NO!! One is a cheeky northern monkey, the other a musical icon with deep rooted Mafia associations! They would never even dream if being in the same city together, let alone the same recording studio!

Sorry. Getting off topic... Stopping now!

well before you stop I agree .

there is nothing wrong with movie maker but it does give the impression that you don't care what hour finished product looks like, back when I used to use it, everything inthere looked like shote, I quikly borrowed a copy of Sony Vegas and since then I have never looked at MM again

Those WMM titles...

People did not seem to notice that the blue background is actually a key or placeholder, you were supposed to put a video in the timeline, on the same time the title was placed so the titles will roll over the video, not on a blue background.

Been watching workflow vids on YT about FCPX, Motion 5 and AE. There's some good tips in there, I find the limiting thing to keeping stuff to refer forwards and backwards is how much disk space you have!

I've got a fiddly drive in my MBP, however I am actually happy as I am now managing data far better on to externals rather than the whole complete jumble it used to be.

Thinking for buying a NAS drive to back shit up to when home, and potentially put films on and then work out how to convert the TVs to SmartTVs and not spend a lot of money in the process...

adobe is boss check out my channel for tons of editing tutorials! :)
Sup ladies & gents,

I know the hardcore vloggers use adobe or final cut. Which is great and those that take the time to edit their vids can really make them standout. I applaud you all. That being said, for simple and fast edits, especially when you are starting out.. man, I gotta say goprostudio and moviemaker get the job done- that is for simple and fast edits only.

Currently, I am using he two. I have the trial version of Adobe Premier and I am learning it.. but I assume it will be weeks or month or two before I can edit anything substantial on adobe, as I only have about three hours a weekend ( Sunday evenings) to dedicate to editing, and at this point- learning how to edit.

That's all folks, just my 2 cents.
