Scotland's NC500

Hi All,

Just posting here to say we are doing the NC500 this year from Friday 21st May - Monday 24th, staying in Lairg, centrally in the highlands, each night and covering segments throughout our trip, so we have a base each night.

Bit of a long shot but would keen to catch up with anyone on here along the way, and similarly if anyone has any tips and words of wisdom, both from a logistics and a MotoVlogging point of view, they would be much appreciated!

Just got done with trip...good weather during but atrocious conditions to and from 1300 miles all in!

now to get stuck in editing mode!

I would too, My wife is part Scot and we belong to a Scottish society. I have a tiny bit, a lot of UK/Irish. Scotland looks lovely.

Folks I highly recommend the NC500...think Hippo has done it too if I am not mistaken...?

all in our trip was 1400 miles lot of saddle time! but thoroughly enjoyable!

I'm half Scottish, half German, yet I've never been to either one.

You'd be surprised. I've done different directions on some roads where I live and it can be a different experience.

Well its 500mile bike trip and a 2.5 hour Ferry just to get to the starting point of the NC500 so one direction will do me for another while yet

Probably will go back and do it many years from now all being well!
