Hey all, I'm Chief Jay, from Palm Beach, Florida! Been motovlogging now for a few months, since July 2014. I ride a big yellow 2002 DRZ400s. Been riding for 7 months, but I used to race minimotos. My real life is pretty boring, I'm a librarian, studying network security and data forensics. I wanted to vlog for years, ever since I saw a BlinkyCab video way back when and thought it seemed like a really fun thing to do. I've been creating and editing videos for much longer though, all through my teenage years I used to film skits and pranks with my buddies.

I've been fortunate to get to meet a lot of really cool people already through vlogging, and in fact there was a big Florida vlogger meet this past weekend that I was at. (Also my first big group ride!) Hopefully this ends up adding some more friendships and acquaintances to the mix!

If any of you guys are inclined to check out my stuff, my YouTube channel is /chiefjayvlogs. From what I understand I can't actually post a link until I post more on here. But hopefully you guys see something on there that tickles your fancy! Mostly vlogs, and a few music videos. If I may make a recommendation, "Dumb biker gets caught in rain again" is my personal favorite, even if it was one of the most miserable to film.

You're so lucky! I have been riding for a year and about to hit two in three months and haven't met any riding buddy or group. I am too picky maybe, I'd rather ride alone than with the people I see on the streets here.

There is a really nice Kawasaki riding group in my country but the people are from the main cities, they meet up at 1200km (~700mi) from where I live.

There's lots of unsafe riders I see out here, I wouldn't really ride with them, too dangerous. But I also happen to be close to a few other motovloggers geographically. So I tend to ride with them mostly.

Haha we tried that already with 3 vloggers, but unfortunately the guy who was running the Sena pack to capture all the audio crashed and his files were unrecoverable. I've done a few dual vlogs though, one with Witness2282, and an unreleased one with PalmBeachRider. Also a sort-of dual vlog with a fairly well known vlogger, but that one is still being edited.
