Hello from Melbourne Australia!

Hey guys.
where to begin. I've loved anything with a motor and wheels my entire life!
I rode bikes from the age 13-17 religiously like daily.. i mean my parents put more fuel in my bike then my car. but now 6 years later and I HAVEN'T BEEN ON THE BIKE SINCE! and something hasn't felt right ever since i stopped. Anyway earlier this year i was doing my typical night of sitting there staring at youtube and came across 'motovlogs'. I liked it. So much in fact that I decided to bite the bullet. Done my learners and in the coming weeks I'm going to buy a cbr500ra (to my gfs disgust ;p). I haven't been this excited and years and the motovlogging community has made me realise what i was missing!
I would like to start making some videos too, but I've decided since this is my first road bike I'm going to give it some time before I start as I don't want to get distracted and put myself in a bad position just for a youtube video :P
Thank you all for making me realise what I had lost and I hope to see plenty of you out on the road :P

just record your daily ride anyway to learn from things you did wrong :) you dont have to talk on the camera, i forget mines their sometimes

Yea thats the plan :)
damn I honestly can not contain my excitement. This saturday I'm walking in to the store and thats it... I'm just gonna buy the bike outright and hope to see it within a week haha

Flew from Melbourne back to Sydney yesterday. It was soooo cold :P so make sure you ride with warm gear! Most warm welcome fellow Aussie!

heylichiee it wasn't the cold that was the problem it was the wind... we had trucks turn over and shipping container stacks just fall... was crazy!!!

Whats wrong with Riding in the Wind....then rain....then sun....thenHail....then Wind again...well it is Melbourne!!

Gday and Welcome aboard.
You 'just' missed out on the Melb. Vloggers GoKart day (18 June at AusKarts)
Dont panic tho, their are a few of us in Melb., so way more opportunities for a meet-up.

WARNING - WARNING - WARNING - WARNING - WARNING
DONT goto Peter Stevens, anywhere but their.
They'll LOVE you whenu spending money, after that, they are really NOT that good at after sales service etc.
Just think of P/Stevens now as a Bunnings.
Nova honda in Ringwood could even cut you a better deal i reckon??

Ok back to the topic at hand...Bikes.
Will proll see ya on the road, so look out for either a ScrapHeap z750, a VERY Custom Virago 1100 or a 'Theme painted' CrashTestDummy/Falloffalot mobile - Xt600 (adv. custom).

I'd sub to ya, but idk ifu hava channel yet.
You could be doing a series on 'B4 and After'??, the Build-up to the purchase/first ride/etc. etc.??

Cheers
MrFall. > : )

I am getting the bike from there I know what you're saying. But they've given me a good package deal. But I am taking it somewhere else for services etc :p
Luckily enough my family has a friend working there so I shouldn't have too much trouble. It's a shame that such a good store has made a bad rap for itself within the bike community.
As for making videos before hand as much as I'd like to I haven't had the time with work. Being end of financial year we're being put through hell and back haha but I'll let you know when it happens :p

Well guys I picked it up today. A cbr500ra. In black yellow and white. Got myself a bell star helmet and some other dainese gear. First day out on the road and I had the time of my life!

There she is guys. Just before it left the shop :)
