I like the Sportster 72. Those were so sweet.
I see they lost it and the 1200T. The 1200T was a cool little functional bike. The Low seems to have gone too.
Goodness...shaking my head.
Interesting perspective. ThanksYea I like the looks too. And from what they sound on videos. I just have an issue with their price tag and riding American cruisers in general. They're just too heavy with a long wheel base for the tight 180 degree u-turns I have to do every single day to get out of my estate. And the prices are disgusting in Singapore, often matching or even costing more than a brand new Hayabusa, not to mention they are super secretive about prices until you actually show interest in signing the purchase.
I just hate the Harley business practice, worst employees I've ever met in any service sector.

Yep, that's exactly how they behave.Looks like there are only three dealers in your area. I bet they are owned by the same person or group.
Let me guess on your experience with the staff. They are cocky and consider anything other than a Harley to be second class therefore the riders of those machines are likewise not worthy. However all that can be fixed if you buy a Harley.
Does that sound about right? If so, it happens here in the US. As far as owning one making automatic respect, Sportster riders are typically dogged buy the bigger bike riders and dealer staff to trade up to a bigger bike.
Honestly, I don't even mind buying the same old same old shit that's been repackaged since the 60s, I'm a stickler to what I like and I hardly change for change's sake. But yes, the price point is just goddamn unreasonable, and Harley employees know it, that's why they always avoid the topic of price until they've suckered you in.What bugs me is that the brand bragged of "new" models but they are repackaging the same stuff over and over. Then they act as if they are perfect but since Buell left there has not been a sportbike or adventure touring bike from the brand.
Plus the price point for what the customer gets is not reasonable compared to other brands.
Yet I still like my bike so go figure. I do know as soon as the warranty is out I am going to redo some poor engineering.

Yeah, my local dealer is always trying to get me to trade in my girl's bike for a real mans big twin.
Everything he said mirrors my experience as a Harely Sportster owner. =[. Perhaps Harely has to address this issue in order to stop losing sales. To expensive, rude employees, poor environment among riders etc.Looks like there are only three dealers in your area. I bet they are owned by the same person or group.

This reminds me of this video:
I've gone to Harley shop a few times, and ranted that they don't make shaft drive anymore, and that's why I won't buy HD. And yes, a long time ago they did make few, before you are going to ask.
This reminds me of this video:
I would love an updated SpringerThe ride wouldn't take my quarter so I guess the video lied....
Good video. I still love a springer though.
HEY. Just occurred to me that we are due for the TC engine to migrate into the Sportster line.
That is if HD sticks to timelines as they are apt to do.
That would be interesting, but I'm not sure they care enough to redo the whole power plant on the Sporty ever again.
