Check if you have more blur filters, some of them may be adjustable too. The editor I have, has like 4 or 5 different types and they work with different usability, in different conditions.

I used to be quite picky about number plates, less so now. I will try to avoid showing them where reasonably practicable, particularly in stills, thumbnails and such, but there is only so far you can go with that, and I realised that my bikes, and videos for that matter, are so unpopular that no-one would reasonably clone them.

The thing is, even if you only ever ride alone, at some point your plate is going to be seen by people, and if someone really wants to they will get the information anyway, so it's a matter of risk vs effort, how much effort do you want to put in to prevent any extra risk?

If you have a popular bike (for thieves or dishonest people generally) you probably want to put more effort in, if your bike is easily distinctive and/or unpopular, maybe less so.

I did blur it in capcut but for some reason when I uploaded to YouTube the blur was so minimal it was still visible.I removed the blur as it looked bad and uploaded.

Anyways I take solice in the fact no one will watch my first few vids but going forward I am deffo going to be more careful.

Luckily I don’t really ride fast so I am not too worried about getttinf myself into trouble speeding on camera etc.

YouTube editor lets things get blurred after being uploaded. It has Face and Custom as options. You can choose size, shape, position, tracking, and time stamps.

Good thing to have just in case any of have a missed wardrobe malfunction.

I tend to blur stuff, but I don't think its that much of an issue. If someone nicks your reg they will do it anyway. Regardless, if I remember I cover them up in the garage.

In California, it is a good idea to blur out your plate because any person can report your vehicle stolen if they want to be a troll. : / But other states and countries may vary.
