Im going into my third season with this bike and I've never bothered with the Android auto play features because I really didn't have a use for music or communications while I'm out riding. However, I would really like to try the google maps on the screen and use as a GPS.
Unfortunately the entire system will not work unless you have an active headset, and my old headset kind of fell apart.
So, even though I don't really need a headset, Im buying one just to make my bike tech work and try out on screen nav.
Since I don't use it much and never ride in groups, I chose something less expensive, but still able to do the job if I take a passenger.
I went with the cardo spirit headset for around $130 CAD. It's on the way and I'll do a little unboxing video when it arrives.
That's the world we live in now, so much tech. Not like the old days when you just get on, start it up and ride.
