GoPro Files Multiple Files Popping Sounds?

You know how gopro splits the videos into multiple files when they reach 4gb?!

I've recently noticed that right where the videos stitch together, in final cut, premier or whatever you might be using, there is like a popping sound. The video transition from File A to File B its very smooth, but not the audio. Just a small pop, but enough to annoy me, and making me use crossfades and stuff like that.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm using a gopro 9 btw, but I did find someone else online with a similar issue with a gopro10.

Pretty common at any cuts in nonlinear editing suites.

Trick is to create one cross fade of constant power, reduce to very short time, copy that cross fade/constant power effect, in the beginning, copy that cross fade, then hold the command key and click and drag the curser along all the audio cuts you want to effect (often times its best to just select the whole sequence) then the audio cuts will be highlighted red and paste. This will apply that constant power to all jump cut audio transitions and the popping will disappear.
