Youtube have set the max video length to 15 minutes.
Is it just me or is that just going to promote long, boring videos?




Various types of users have been able to upload longer vids for years now. But, YT actually advises partners not to upload long vids because they're inconvenient to watch & that doesn't help boost ad-revenue....the upload limit for non-partners has been 10 minutes...
It doesn't make a huge difference whether people upload 10 or 15 minute vids tbh. Boring vids are still boring whether they're 5, 10 or 15 minutes long. Most vids are long because people don't like editing their footage quite as much as they like shooting it.extreme601 wrote:It will encourage the uploading of long and boring videos (not so cool)
